Net-zero Cement

With a projected 5-year average annual growth rate of ~2.2% and over 50% of its population under 30, Africa is the next major hub for rapid industrialization to support its surging population. This industrialization drive will warrant massive improvements in capital infrastructure—and will substantially increase Africa's carbon footprint.

Large-scale construction demands large quantities of cement and, consequently, large volumes of CO₂ will be produced and released. Africa has an urgent need to develop effective technologies to curb its carbon footprint without cutting back on its industrialization drive.

We seek to partner with relevant stakeholders and talents to develop proprietary, innovative, and scalable technologies, processes, and best-practices to produce net-zero cement—a sustainable solution befitting Africa's industrial and environmental contexts.
